On January 22, our Vice President and Co-founder Aurelien Rigart had the opportunity to meet with a delegation of Marketing and Strategy Managers from The Home Depot, and discuss the key aspects of the Chinese Digital Landscape. The talk was organized and facilitated by the Kantar Consulting team.
Some relevant topics we covered during the sharing session:
- Key tenets of e-commerce that are unique to China
- The emergence of social commerce
- The evolution of the digital landscape and customer expectation in the next 1-2 years
- Foreseen challenges as more retailers look to digitize their business
We hope this talk shed some light on the Chinese Digital Retail ecosystem to the Home Depot delegation, giving some inspiration for their future digital strategy in the US as well. Many thanks to Kantar Consulting for organizing this event!
